Ro3kvit at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025!
We have great news - two Ro3kvit projects have been included in the exposition of the French Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2025, which will open on May 10th.
This year's theme of the pavilion is "Living with”. How to live with the consequences of climate change, war and global instability? How can architecture become a tool for adaptation and recovery?
Ro3kvit will present two large-scale research projects that shape new ideas about the spatial future of Ukraine. Read more about our projects:
Dnipro River Integrated Vision is a joint project of Greenpeace and Ro3kvit, which can be seen as a combination of research, scenarios, and ideas for a wide audience: urbanists, politicians, experts in various fields, and the public. These are facts and experiences from the past and present, analytical work that we propose to take into account when discussing future opportunities for the Dnipro River.
A vision for rebuilding Mariupol is the result of more than six months of work by an interdisciplinary team of Mariupol residents and Ukrainians from other cities, as well as experts from Europe and the United States. This vision covers the areas of identity, memory and the future, environmental strategy, and rethinking the role of nature in the city, as well as ensuring the comfort of residents and the quality of life in the urban environment at each stage of development.
We are grateful to the French Pavilion team for the opportunity to be heard. It is important for us not only to present projects but also to share the Ukrainian experience - to talk to the world about the war and its consequences, Ukraine's recovery, and what we are experiencing today.
