Strengthening of Urban Resilience: Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih
The war in Ukraine has led to major changes in housing, and infrastructure. Three of the main cities in the Eastern part of the country are still free, but under constant threat: Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kryvvy Rih. The economy in the cities has dropped, and the demography has changed. The cities play an important role in the regional context. Detailed information about damages, demography, local capacity and needs assessment seems to be lacking, and the link between urgent needs and long-term improvements is not or hardly present. Understandable, in present conditions. Ro3kvit aims to give support, to be able to prioritize urgent issues and to renovate and rebuild aligned with future perspectives.
Ro3kvit aims to provide support in identifying priority and urgent projects for implementation, as well as expertise in how to connect the crisis needs of today with the perspective of urban development in the future.
