Resilient cities

Goals of the project:

The first goal is to understand the (urgent) needs of all cities Dnipro Zaporizhzhia and Kryviy Rih and their capacity.
Building on that, we aim to assess the interest of the municipalities to actively join the next step(s) in the process. Additionally, select the project locations in the three cities, and define its main concepts of program, renovation or building and the process. The second goal is to align short term needs with long term perspectives (and demands) of urban development. The third goal is to actively start assisting municipalities and local communities with technical advice in planning and preparation of renovation or building concepts, and to be prepared for future developments in urban strategic decisions. assessment of the needs of three selected Ukrainian cities with regard to war-related damages and capacities. It shall provide various forms of expertise to partner cities to embark on integrated and sustainable urban development paths during recovery, to prioritize and implement projects and to connect among each other.
