Case studies for inclusive and sustainable urban renewal in Ukraine
At the initiative of UN-Habitat and upon their request, teams under the coordination of the Ro3kvit. Urban Coalition for Ukraine in the first half of 2025, five thematic analytical studies were prepared on key aspects of urban renewal in Ukraine. The aim of the project was to create contextually relevant materials that will contribute to a better understanding of the current situation, inform policy makers in the field of recovery, and enrich professional and academic discussion.
Each study was developed by a separate expert team according to an agreed structure and was subject to independent peer review. The texts provide an analytical overview of the topic, highlight the main challenges and potentials, and formulate key conclusions.
