Key Responsibilities
● Manage the consolidated organizational budget, maintain financial discipline, and forecast resource needs.● Oversee grant-related budgets and ensure compliance with donor financial and administrative requirements.● Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and operational processes that ensure transparency, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.● Ensure effective daily operations and translate strategic decisions into clear, actionable steps.● Build and maintain healthy team dynamics, including recruitment, onboarding, professional development, and performance management.● Develop HR systems and internal culture that promote accountability, trust, and professional growth.● Review, align, and prepare contracts, administrative decisions, and key documentation before CEO approval.● Ensure compliance with legislation, donor requirements, and internal organizational standards.● Identify operational and strategic risks and implement systems for prevention and management.● Prepare the organization for audits and ensure timely follow-up on audit recommendations.● Maintain stable operational processes and provide consistent support to teams and projects.
Candidate Requirements
● Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, project management, or organizational leadership within NGOs, international projects, or multidisciplinary environments.● Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, HR processes, and compliance frameworks.● Proven ability to manage complex systems and balance strategic and operational priorities.● Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially in cross-cultural environments.● Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and maintain clarity in a dynamic organizational landscape.● Fluency in Ukrainian and English (written and spoken).● Experience in mission-driven or network-based organizations is an advantage.● Personal qualities: curiosity, empathy, precision, accountability, and systems thinking.● Based in Kyiv (or available to work primarily from Kyiv within a hybrid model).
