Information Session: LIFE call to support Ukrainian cities

The EU funding programme LIFE for environmental projects has launched a call that focuses on supporting Ukrainian cities. Ro3kvit’s partner NEB invites to the information session, dedicated to new grant opportunities from the EU.
As announced by Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during her visit to Kyiv on 2 February, the call embraces the New European Bauhaus approach and focuses on supporting Ukrainian cities’ actions with sustainable and inclusive reconstruction, including building capacity in waste and water management.
Next to that, a dedicated Horizon Europe call should identify a core group of Ukrainian cities that would commit to a climate neutrality target, including in reconstruction efforts. The goal is to accelerate the systemic transition to climate-neutrality of Ukrainian cities by preparing local authorities to meet the overarching objectives of the European Green Deal.
In addition, the LIFE programme also offers a more general call that is open to Ukrainian organisations who would like to link their work to the New European Bauhaus.
👉This is why, on the 5 th of May from 11:00-13:00 CET/12:00-14:00 EET, the NEB will organise an information session, specifically for organisations in Ukraine and international organisations interested to team up for reconstruction with Ukrainians to get more information on these specific open calls. There will also be opportunities to ask questions. Ukrainian interpretation is available for this session. On the day, you will be able to follow the session here: https://webcast.ec.europa.eu/neb-info-session-on-rebuild-ukraine-23-05-05
