We are looking for a Finance Officer to support our finance and administrative team on a part-time basis (60%)

Key responsibilities ● To maintain the integrity of the organization’s financial system by ensuring internal controls, coordinating financial activities across multiple projects.● Control of payments and financial transactions to ensure they are supported by proper documentation.● Overseeing the financial tracking of physical assets purchased with grant funds.● Preparation and tracking of the consolidated budget and cash flow of the organization, forecasting and preparation of various budget scenarios● Monitoring the use of the organization's financial resources, compliance with financial procedures, policies and donor requirements● Analysis of eligibility of expenses within budgets and financial plans approved ● Regular financial and analytical reports for management and donors● Interaction with the accountant, documentation manager and project managers, assistants on project implementation and financial management ● Identification of the financial risks and preparation of recommendations for their minimazation and mitigation ● Ensuring proper storage of financial documentation and data● Participation in internal and external inspections, audits and project evaluations.
Candidate requirements● Higher education in finance, economics, accounting, management or related fields● Experience working with project budgets in the NGO sector, financial reporting or donor funds (at least 2 years).● Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of financial control, monitoring and evaluation.● Skills in preparing analytical and financial reports● Ability to work with sheets and databases (Excel, Google Sheets or similar tools)● Experience working with international or grant projects ● Fluency in Ukrainian; working knowledge of English (B2 at least).● Responsibility, attention to details, adherence to deadlines
