Lecture on Participatory Tools: A Dutch Perspective to Urban Change

We invite you to an open lecture within the framework of the Communities at the Heart of Urban Changes project, where Ukrainian communities collaborate with Dutch partners to explore new approaches to urban planning.
At the halfway point of the project, our partners will share their experience and practical tools that may be relevant for Ukraine:
🔹Ekim Tan (Play the City) – on the role of serious gaming in planning.🔹 Olga Sowa (STIPO) – on placemaking as a way to engage communities.🔹 Randy Bloem and Stefanos Filippas (INBO) – on the power of storytelling, architectural narrative, and effective communication in working with communities.
After the short presentations, there will be space for your questions and discussion.
About our partners:
STIPO is an international team based in the Netherlands, working on the creation of inclusive and resilient urban spaces. Their focus lies in long-term thinking, collective public spaces, and collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
INBO is an architecture and urban planning firm combining innovative design with community involvement and environmental responsibility.
Play the City develops game-based tools for participatory urban planning. Their City Gaming approach helps stakeholders collaboratively address urban challenges through interactive formats.Looking forward to seeing you there!
