📚 "The public participation handbook of urban planning" was created by participatory team of the Ro3kvit urban coalition in response to the growing need of involving the community in the post-war recovery of Ukraine.
Its purpose is to provide practical understanding on involving public to the rebuilding processes to the planners, managers and government officials involved in the processes of urban planning and development of Ukraine. This is a comprehensive manual for the formation of standards and procedures in the field of urban planning. It can also become a valuable resource for trainers and teachers who see the importance of incorporation of urban planning component into their educational courses.
The handbook contains basic information about the principles of participation, its processes, advantages of participatory planning, examples of participatory planning in the world, as well as inspiring successful cases from Ukraine.
