Discussion "Strategy of change: new roles and new partnerships for Ukraine’s recovery"

Join us at the offline event in Lviv to discuss “Strategy of Change: New Roles and New Partnerships for Ukraine’s Recovery”. The event will take place on January 25, 14:00-19:00 EET in the Lecture Hall of the Kharkiv School of Architecture.
We plan to discuss the cooperation of civil society, business, government, and international partners in post-war reconstruction and instruments to support the participation of the local communities in rebuilding initiatives. The event is organised by ro3kvit Urban Coalition for Ukraine and Kharkiv School of Architecture with the support of International Renaissance Foundation.

Panel 1: Civic Society – Business – Government: how to build trust and effective partnerships in the post-war recovery

Discussion questions:● Recovery, reconstruction, renaissance: the language of transformation processes - what terms reflect the necessary societal changes during and after the war?● Who participates in the development, adoption, and implementation of decisions about the recovery strategy, reconstruction of villages, towns, and cities? What should be the roles of local/national governments, civic society, businesses and international partners? What should be the balance of interests between these stakeholders?● New formats of different types of partnerships: how to effectively use horizontal connections?● Public participation in urban development: transforming approaches to create human-centred solutions.
